Reginald Montique, 38, of Carroll Street, is charged with murder and weapons offenses, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
Montique was taken into custody Sunday afternoon in Norristown, Pennsylvania by members of the U.S. Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force and officers with the Norristown Police Department, Onofri said.
There is no scheduled court appearance at this time.
Montique was awairing extradition to Mercer County from Pennsylvania, according to Onofri.
The charges are the result of an investigation by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force.
At about 1 a.m. on Nov. 13, Trenton patrol officers were alerted to an unresponsive male at a bus stop in the first block of West State Street, Onofri said.
The victim, later identified as 41-year-old Livingston of Trenton, suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, the prosecutor said.
